Sporadic Freeview EPG Data Missing....
Good afternoon everyone,
I am puzzled... Very puzzled... I have a Terratec twin freeview card, that works perfectly. Twin tuning is not a problem works well with my 4gb ram and E6850 processor... However, having rebuilt my SAGETV box some of the EPG data is simply not registering... BBC1 - Missing BBC2 - Missing BBC News - Missing CBBC - Missing ITV - Missing C4 - Missing E4 - Missing ITV4 - Missing More4 - Missing C4 +1 - Missing ITV2 - Missing ITV3 - Missing Five - Missing FIVER - Missing Five US - Missing UK - TC Style - Present CBeebies - Present The Hits - Present TMF - Present UK TV History - Present ITV2 +1 - Present Film4 - Present For the life of me i cannot work out why some are present and some are missing... The channels are there and viewable, but alas the epg data is missing.... Lastly, another weirdy thing... When ITV2 goes from programme to adverts, the screen goes fuzzy and and i need to change the channel to make it work again... Most weird and any help gratefully received !! ta Andrew

Are you using OTA EPG or XMLTV ? if its the latter, you can check your XMLTV source for the entries. I suspect most UK people on here use XMLTV source.
Video problems when adverts start/end are generally caused by the aspect ratio change. Try a different video decoder. Tim

brewston, many many thanks !!! I am using OTA epg, it has been splendid up until the rebuild and now... poo !!
What would you recomend for the video decoder....?

Then I'm not sure as I use XMLTV - setting that up isn't too tricky, either using Birty's grabber (see sticky thread in UK forum) or Digiguide (See jaminben's post in the Digiguide thread) I guess you could try re-adding the tuner ?
I use Cyberlink decoders but didn't see the problem you so wouldn't want to tell you it will fix your problem  take a note of the current settings and experiment to see if you can get it working

Make sure you don't have

mmc/encoders/<num>/disable_data_scanning=true Also, I've found Cyberlink and Nvidia decoders to work best with AR changes.
