Client 100% CPU and unresponsive
Since replacing my PVR 250's with HD 1212's and installing the 6.4 betas the local client has occasionally had the problem where it would take 100% CPU and be unresponsive upon starting it up. This only happens at startup and requires an "End Task" from Task Manager and a reboot before it will startup properly. Sometimes I have to do that several times. If it does start properly then it will behave itself for as long as it is running.
Last night I had to end task and reboot over and over for an hour and a half but still could not get it to work. I finally let it run at 100% all night and this morning ended task and rebooted and it was OK again. This is on my server that has the Sage service running 24/7 and never has a problem. This is just the built-in client. Since this started I have also formatted and reinstalled everything and it still happens. Any ideas before I submit a bug report? S |
