Kaspersky problems with 6.4.6 & 6.4.7
I've been having problems getting 6.4.6 and 6.4.7 working at all on my system with my HD Homerun. My system goes into extreme slow motion whenever I access the HDHR. I finally found that when I disable Kaspersky's firewall, all is fine. In digging deeper, it looks like a change between 6.4.4 and 6.4.6 (I didn't try 6.4.5 because it had problems with the HDHRs) in Sage is causing Kaspersky to try to scan the mpeg feed as it comes in -- this overloads my system. It didn't do that in 6.4.4 (I just checked by restoring my backup). Anyone know how to fix this? Is there a config in Kaspersky that keeps it from scanning an address (assuming that I can also figure out how to make it static in my router)? Or is it something that has to change in Sage.
(I'm sure that it's Sage because I can access the stream fine using VLC). Partially Resolved: I've found that unless the HDHR is on a trusted network, Kaspersky has too much overhead on the NDIS.sys driver -- it adds up to 100 ms of latency to the DPC (interrupt) thread which is the highest priority in the system. I also set the networks to not to use the kaspersky ndis filter (part of the protocol setup). I don't know if it's the sage side or the kaspersky side that's causing the problem because VLC driven by HDHR config works just fine -- but I had to change Kaspersky to get sage to work (I can't change Sage). I'm still in contact with Kaspersky tech support since I don't like my local network being considered trusted. Sage tech support just blamed SiliconDust and dropped the ball. I'll update this if I find out more info.

You might be able to set SageTVService to be ignored by the firewall. Not too familiar with it though, so cannot guarantee that.
