Blue-ray DVD
If I understand correctly we cannot play Blu-ray dvds in Sage as of today. I am in need of a new DVD player for one of my clients and am trying to decide if I should get a new player with Blu-ray ROM ability or just a standard DVD player? Is Blu-ray playing thru sage a possibility in the near future?

I doubt it. However many have managed to get Sage to work with other playback software for BD/HD DVD.

With m2ts support here, or coming soon for sage, it really isn't that hard to make a backup of a BD on your HDD and watch a Bluray.

...and having neilm's Dynamic Menu launch TMT or PDVD is a piece of cake.
