Final thoughts on PVR setup

Ok,from advice here, I think I will run a PVR 350 on the PII 350 machine, also going to be running another PVR 250, maybe on the PII 350 machine or if not on a new machine I am building.
My question is, if I have the PVR 350 in one machine and then the othe PVR 250 running in another machine, will the PVR 350 remote be able to control the full setup? i.e. from the tv can i start recording a show on the other machine and then play it back from there also?
I will be hardwired through the network so I should have enough bandwidth. I am considering encoding the a networked machine, will 2 shows record at the same time to a network drive? Will there be enough bandwidth to do this?
Sorry for all the newbie questions, wanna try and get this finished by the end of the week.
Thanks
Patrick
