HD and analoge tuners, same EPG lineup= problem
Help! I'm going crazy!
I have digital cable, TWC to be specific, and am running video sources, both cable boxed (one HD, one SD) Tuner #1: on a HD PVR, to record the HD channels (the few that there are), as well as the SD channels. Tuner #2: a WinTV 1800, to record just SD channels (I haven't gotten the OTA digital tv tuner working on the 1800 or I'd have three sources!) Anywho, since I am using one EPG souce, how do I tell one tuner to only record SD channels, and the other to do both? When I set up the sources in Sage, and select a EPG lineup, it is only letting me use one for both tuners! I'll go through the whole setup of selecting a new EPG for the second source, but when I'm done, it ends up being the same channel lineup as the other. When I select/deselect a channel on one, it does the same on the other! (grumble, grumble) Any ideas? I'm using the latest beta, BTW (so I can use the HD PVR), if that makes any difference. |

During source setup in v6.4, if you choose the same lineup for a different type of recording source, it will offer the option to copy the channels to a separately configurable lineup.
There was a discussion about this new feature during the beta here. - Andy
