Legal Question Sage

I purchased Sage and I am running it on a Media Center PC. But I want to play around with the Sage Studio software and see if I can make some imports. I don't want to mess with it on my Media Center because it is dedicated to TV and I don't want to mess it up.

I have a Mac Laptop that I would do the work on so my 2 questions are :

1. Is it cool with Sage if I use the same code to install the software on 2 machines ?

2. Will the same code even work if one machine is a Mac and the original code was for the PC version ?

-S

How about using SageTVClient on the 2nd PC? It costs less than the full server & you would get client use on the other computer. And, unless you use OS-dependent code in some way, STVs run on any SageTV system.

License keys are specific to the OS. A Windows license key will not work on a Mac version of the product.

SageTVClient is a better way to go anyway, because then you'll have actual recordings, favorites, and program guide data from your server to work with, instead of having to fake up all that stuff for testing purposes.
