Happy to test also.

I have an HD PVR and tons of recorded content. Been testing new ShowAnalyzer, but was previously a Comskip user and would love to compare the two.

Thanks

Could you upload a sample of such a PS file with h264?

Sure. Can you recommend a good ps file splitter?

With many ftp clients (but not with Internet Explorer) you can start the upload and after say 100MByte or when you think its enough abort. Whatever was uploaded will stay on the server

Video decoding for all uploaded .ts recordings works.
Still some problems with the audio auto track selection.

Hi Erik

I can confirm this. Comskip is slowly working through all my h.264 recordings in .TS format - so far without any hick-ups and with good accuracy.

Well done!

Rasmus

PS or TS format?

how big of a CPU hog is this? I am starting to set this up and was wondering if I should have it run in real time or as a nightly batch.

Hey Erik - Is there a version of comskip available in the early access folder that has h264 support? Or are you just providing testers with binaries directly as you desire testers?

btl.

On my 1.2 GHz laptop it distributes evenly over the 2 cores (50% load on each core, expected 25% load per core on a quad core) and runs at 8fps. Two comskip processes running will fully load both cores.
So its REALLY slow at the moment

I intend to make an early access version available this weekend.
Audio is still causing problems but for the moment I have enough test recordings to keep me busy

I records 1080i or 720p h.264 into a ts container/file up to 13Mbit. Audio is AAC, but just stereo right now. They will be adding AC3 recording down the road a bit (it is already supposed to be released).

Cool.

I have a Quad core 9450 on the server and a quad core 9300 on the htpc client. I have an HD-PVR with about 400-500GB of recordings (mostly kids shows) to test on. I'd love to help the cause.

Can't wait....
