HD Extender- Shows hanging with FF or RW

I've been having an issue with my HD-100 since I got it where shows seem to hang if we are trying to Fast Forward or Rewind a few seconds. To fix it, we have to hit stop, then restart the show.

The activity light on the extender continues to blink quickly, so it doesn't seem like it's losing a connection. The server worked as the primary device, plugged right in to the TV for a long time and never had this problem, only since I swapped it for the extender.

The wife is starting to really get annoyed with this.

Server Specs:
AMD 64 3800+
HVR-950
4GB RAM
MSI K8 NEO Platinum
GB Ethernet
500GB Sata partitioned to 2 drives (mostly for TV recording)
Several smaller IDE drives for music and movie storage

Switch is an 8 port Gigabit (Dlink I think)

Any ideas on this? I have updated the firmware about 3 weeks ago to the beta that was availalable with no difference

Thanks

I have the exact same problem with an additional hitch -- sometimes it happens even when I don't hit FF or REW. In my case also, it only happens with HD programming captured with HDHomeRun (which plays 100% flawlessly on sage client).

I'm currently running the latest HD100 firmware and the latest sage beta on JDK 1.6.0_04

I'm planning this weekend to upgrade my sage server to the latest release (I'm still running the last beta which I think is actually the same) and upgrade to the latest version of Java. I'll verify that I'm still having this problem with all the latest SW and then open a support request with sage.

SageTV 6.4.7.182
Windows XP Pro on intel dual core CPU
jdk 1.6.0_04
HD100 w/latest firmware
HDHomeRun firmware v 20080723 software v ???
100 base-t wired network

I too noticed this problem last night watching a recordin gof Supernanny of ABC OTA via HDHR on SageTV 6.4.6 Beta. In some instances the picture would freeze, but I could still hear sounds, and I could move FWD and REV through the stream hearing it change, and the CC pligin was changing the CC text as well.
