Difference between direct sound and default sound
Is there any?
edit-I am using 2 channel sound on my TV at the moment but I will hopefully be moving to 5.1 or 7.1 in the future. Last edited by AJ Bertelson; 02-11-2004 at 11:10 PM.

I think that if the directsound renderer is set as the default renderer then there will be no difference, but if it is not then there will be. Whereas if WAV out renderer is set as default then there would be a difference.
But I'm not too sure about any of this.
