Delete Live TV files after predefined time

Hello,

I like to keep Live TV files so I can return to previous channel without losing a lot of content while watching TV with a significant time shift.
But this causes a lot of orphan files in recording directory. The shows are no longer in the list of Recordings but files still exist.
I wonder if there any way to tell SageTV to delete them after certain time or after certain number of orphaned files. It would be great not to have to worry about cleaning up Recording directory.

They should get cleaned up automatically when space is needed.

I have 700GB drive and dont use it more than 40-50%. This means that I will have the rest of the drive space filled with junk. Will not be easy to find files I need there.

Appendix C of the PDF manual covers when files are deleted.

If live TV files are not set to be automatically deleted & you don't want them to remain, then the hidden features has options to view partial recordings. Using the custom malore menus, you could group them by the day they were recorded if you only want to remove the ones past a certain date, or you could delete all of them.
