Unhappy Video Jitter on Live tv

Hi all. I really like sage and I bought a PVR250 to play with it. I have been studying the boards here for several weeks. Here is my problem:

When I watch live tv I get jitter every so often 3-10 times a minute.

I have three decoders installed the default, the PVR 250 one and the powerdvd one. The power dvd one seems to work the best but the problem still occurs.

If I have Sage record a show everything is fine on playback sharp smooth etc.

I can watch in wintv2000 for 15 + minutes and never see this problem.

I have done the following :
formated the drive video is being written to with 64k cluster size.
Updated all drivers.

My System is as follows:
2xPIII 933Mhz Intel Motherboard 512mb
8Gig Seagate Barracuda SCSI 80 ID 0 OS/App Drive
40Gig Seagate Barracuda SCSI 160 ID 1 Video Drive 64K cluster size.

The only thing I have left to do is move the second drive to the second scsi adapter. But I really don't think this is the problem.

I also tried SnapStream(only as a reference point) it has the same problem.

Any ideas?

Thanks
