Pal supported >

Hello,

Is PAL also supported ?
I tried to install the software but wenn I open it it says
"unable to detect mpeg II capture card"
I have a pvr 250 installed (latest drivers).
Btw, if I open the config it does have a hauppauge pvr pci II
caputre card listed in the AV capture box.
I thought this error might be caused by the fact that it is a pal card.

Please help

PAL is supported. I'll tell you how to enable the console window so you can give me the detailed error message of why yours isn't working.

Enable console window by adding the following registry value of type REG_DWORD:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Frey Technologies\Common\consolewin=1

Then launch SageRecorder and a DOS window should also launch. The DOS window will print additional error information, please post that here and I'll let you know how to resolve it.

To stop the DOS window from appearing, set that registry value to 0 or remove it altogether.

Questions, let me know.

Thanks,

thanks for replying so fast,

The console window report :
MMC NATIVE FAILURE line 168 hr=0x80004005
MMC processing error:nocard

I also have a 2nd system with a 350 in it. I installed the software on that as well. I don't get a error there, but I do have a problem.
I don't get any sound, not in the preview and not in the recorded file.
It looks like the same problem that wintvcap has (an other 3rd party application for the 250/350), that program also has a lot of no sound problems on PAL systems.
(btw, wintv2k does have sound, as well as recordings made with wintv2k)
I sincerly hope you solve this cause from what if seen so far you're program looks very promissing and certainly worthwhile paying for (wenn I can get sound).

Greetings, Ger

I see from your posts on shspvr you know how to use Graphedit. That's good.

I sent you a PM with instructions on something to test for me...let me know how it goes.
