Hauppauge PVR 250 line in gain
Is there any way to adjust the line in gain on the PVR 250? Mine seems to be getting higher and higher or my pvr is dying. Can I use the line in of the pc instead?

I found a solution here
http://forum.videohelp.com/topic308194.html Somehow mine got set to 7601 = +3dB ---------------------- Change recording sound volume in wintv2k Useful when sound seem to loud, overdrive or to soft. For the drivers prior 1.7.21177 : [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\hauppauge\hcwtvdlg\audiocontrols] "Scart1_Volume"=dword:00000073 (hex7f = +12dB, hex 73 = +0dB, hex 6f = -4dB) Recording_volume_73_old_drivers.reg For the drivers after 1.7.21177 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Globespan\Parameters\ivac15\Driver] "HcwAudioScart1Volume"=dword:00007301 (The last two digits shouldn’t be changed, only change the first two. So 7301 stands for volume 73 hex = = +0dBdB. (Other values : 7f01 = +12dB. , 7301 = +0dB, 6f01 = -4dB) Note : You need to reboot before the setting take effect. 7f01 = +12dB 7c01 = +9dB 7901 = +6dB 7601 = +3dB 7301 = +0dB 6f01 = -4dB |
