Does overlay = crappy image ?
So far I am very dispointed at all the $$$$ I put to develop a Media center. Got HD-PVR running on vista, 3.0 mhz dual core, 4 gig ram, nvidia 260 gtx etc.
After a few hours of setup and testing, reloading, working all issues one by one and lots of help from people in this forum I finaly got image and sound that is not suttering with image overlay. The problem is the image quality is crap to my standards, there is image blur and the colors are so so. I am sure I could fix the colors issue when I will get a media extender. The motion blur is very crappy and I don't know what to do. Is overlay support to be a poor quality image or it's a config thing? I don't get it. If I would of got a PVR from my satellite company the image would have been flawless. Why can't we reproduce this with a computer worth 4 times the money? |

I notice that a new Beta has been posted and it uses EVR for Vista. Perhaps this will fix the stuttering issues and improve playback?
