Disable Mouse pointer from showing up
I am using my HTPC as a stand alone unit. It has no keyboard or mouse plugged into it and the monitor is the TV. I have it set up with sage and realVNC in the startup, it basically logs in and starts sage with realVNC running in the backround. If i have to do any maintenance on the HTPC i access it through realVNC with my laptop. Everthing is run on a wireless network. It is pretty cool. I was amazed how easy it was to set it all up.
Enough about all that here is my problem, when i boot the computer everything starts up fine but I have a mouse pointer in the middle of my screen. Is there a way to disable this mouse pointer from showing up? I am running the latest version of Sage BETA 2.0.12. This is the last problem that I have run into. Once this is fixed it will work amazingly on the TV. LOGDOG |

Login with VNC and drag it off screen.

I've found this has always been a problem (mouse not disappearing properly), even in older released versions.

You could try:
ui/auto_show_osd_on_mouse_move=false But I'm not sure if it will affect the pointer showing or not. That's in the sage.properties BTW. |

Are you using Girder? There's a GML available that moves the mouse pointer off screen. Map it to one of the keys on your remote.

ui/auto_show_osd_on_mouse_move=false ---- just keeps the OSD from poping up when you move the mouse.
If you are using girder, you can have the mouse move off screen when girder starts up. Have girder launch at startup and the problem is solved. There is no need to map it to the remote. |

I have the same problem although it will disappear after a while, I think this should be added as a feature request, to disable it like in myhtpc
