Theme Resources: Icons, Backgrounds and other links

I wanted to start this thread to provide a place to find nice HTPC backgrounds, icons and other stuff useful to theme designers. Feel free to add to this thread with your own links.

We'll start it off with a few icons:

• This link has some nice weather icons
• A few different icon sets
• Pixelgirl icons

And then some HTPC backgrounds:

• Backgrounds from meedio users
• HDR Walls has some nice backgrounds
• This post at Smashing Magazine has some cool backgrounds
• Interfacelift has more backgrounds
• WinCustomize has more
• A few from the Vista background creator
• Astronomy Picture of the day makes for a nice resource for backgrounds
• Pixelgirl backgrounds
• Desktopography backgrounds
• Caedes Desktop backgrounds
• PS3 Themes

I have more that I'll add to this post later but wanted to get these down for anyone interested before I forgot.

I was searching for some good icons and stumbled acroos this thread, thanks for posting the links.

Most of the icons referenced are .ico files, which Sage does not really support, .jpg and .png generally work a lot better.

Having said that, I'm looking for some hard drive icons that will work in Sage. Most of what I've found are either in the wrong format or have white backgrounds (instead of transparent). Anybody know where to find this?

Wow, I guess someone did read this thread after all - just a few years later

I'll see what I can find for hard drive icons though.

If you get really stuck I can edit them with photoshop to remove the white background and add the .png extension for you.....as long as its not hundreds of images

Thanks Ben, I have only 1 image. I have no clue how to use photoshop.
