video library
My video library in v2.13 is showing files that have been deleted still. I tried restarting Sage, but that did not work. How do you refresh the list if at all? If you try to play one of the phantom files it defaults to playing LiveTV.

Remove and readd the directory in detailed setup.

why is it not possible to delete videos from imported videos in the media library
It is not a bug right? The imported videos are just ones I saved before uninstalling old version and installing of new verion 2.013 |

The media library is generally for stuff outside Sage, and as such is treated as beyond the reach of Sage (no deleting).

I'm not sure what you mean by this. |

That happened to me on the first install of Beta .10. 1.4.1 had removed them from the database but not the disk. th .10 beta imported them into the library becasue it had no info on them in the database (wiz.bin). Its a one time thing. just delete them manually. No big deal.

just had to ask
but it would be cool if Sage could delete them manually of course in case you wanted to free up space without going into the program folder |

I don't know if its really necessary for sage to be able to delete video files...but at least it should recognize that a file has been deleted by windows and remove it from the available list.

It was just feature request then I guess
I just think there should be noreason it could not delete these files maybe only maunally inside of SageTV |

jsg4z, I agree it should do so. 1.4.1 did not keep a record and just displayed what was in your folder. I am assuming what you are seeing is a bug. My suggestion was just intended to assist you in getting rid of it now.

Sage does refresh its library list, but it does not do it instantly. I don't know how long for sure. I would think a button in the Library to tell it to refresh now would be good.

Thanks falchulk, I will try your suggestion when I get home from work.
Now im thinking a delete button followed by a confirmation of delete for the video library would be nice. As well as a refresh list button. |

you can get the menu to fresh by modifing one of your favorites in the manager
Just happened by chance but tested it, it works |

I tried that, and there are still phantom files. I did a search on the entire disk for one of the files and that file doesnt exist anywhere. So Sage has cached it in its database?

jsg4z, did you remove and readd the library directory? I am 99% sure that will get rid of it for now. If it continues to happen, submit it as a bug report.

Actually, when I remove the directory (and before i re-add) the list of movies is still there.

This is under imported video and not under the sage recorded section in the library correct?

This is under the "Imported Video Files" section of "Media Library"

Well, you have me stumped. I guess all you can do is place a bug report.

I put in a bug report, but in the mean time my video list is almost unusable with double and sometimes triple ghost entries.
Does anyone know where this list is stored so I can manually delete them? |

ok, wait a minute.
You mean that jsg4z is the only guy seeing this problem? All the files have been copied to dvd or deleted. I have deleted and re-added the directories in setup and the list is still there. In fact when you add a new directory, it just adds those titles to the list. What's up with this? |
