The directories are not refreshing. It's like the wiz file is out of sync. Sage is crashing when I select a file that's not there.

yea the wiz.bin file seems to be the culprit. I am trying to decipher it so maybe i can remove those phantom files, but its looking difficult.

You mean that jsg4z is the only guy seeing this problem? All the files have been copied to dvd or deleted. I have deleted and re-added the directories in setup and the list is still there. In fact when you add a new directory, it just adds those titles to the list.

What's up with this?
I'm seeing this also. I've got double and triple entries along with entries for files that no longer exist. The cause for me is because I have SageTV pointed to numerious directories setup for BTV and when they are moved or deleted in BTV is chokes up SageTV import directorie lists.

That's a good question. My guess is to kill the wiz and start over. I think I'll wait until the next beta release.

I killed the wiz file and then restarted sagetv. The ghost files went away, but it moved my TV recordings from Sage Recordings to Imported Video Library. I guess because my "Favorites" were stored in the wiz file too. This solution will hold till hopefully the next beta.

FYI recreating the wiz.bin will remove the recordings from the database so you no longer have any info stored for them. This will also remove schedued recordings, favorites and guide data.

Yea and this is a bummer. I'm not too concerned now because this is beta and I expect to restart things when they get out of whack but my main concern is future maintenance.

I have already copied sage mpg files to dvd and deleted the originals. If the directory displays refresh properly, this won't be much of an issue. When I watch these dvds with sage, it wants to update the import video directory with the contents of the dvd, it just doesn't do it very well now.

I think the Watch DVD function should first check the disk to see if it's an mpg file or a true dvd and then act accordingly. I already know what is on the dvd from the label and sage shouldn't have to update anything, just play it.

Right now when you put in a sage dvd, you need to fish the title out of list displayed and that's not very friendly.
