Firewire tuning and 64 bit OS
Do the the firewire drivers work under a 64 bit OS?
I am curious if anyone has a working setup with firewire tuning under a 64 bit OS ( I am planning on using Vista 64 bit). I currently have XP 32 with one firewire and one HD-PVR tuners. |

From what I've read on avsforum.com and elsewhere, the drivers do not work with a 64 bit OS. I'm running Vista 64 and I wanted to use fireSTB for channel changing my STB, but it seems like that isn't possible at this time.

Wanted to bumpt his thread. Does anyone have any update or insights here? Bottom line... is there any way to get firewire channel changing working in 64 bit windows (preferably Windows 7)?

Nope, a couple people(at least 1 here, and a couple on avsforums) have said they were working on 64bit drivers, but nobody has finished, and nobody has released any code.
