two easy questions

Is it possible to make SageTV start in full screen mode?

So far I've been using the PVR-250 remote and the IR receiver that came with it. Can that receiver be modified to work with other remotes, or do I need a 3rd-party IR receiver to do that? (Reason: I'd like to use the "Cable TV" button of my ReplayTV remote to control the SageTV, so one remote can control the Sage, ReplayTV, and the TV itself.)

Thanks
Kevin

SageTV should start however you left it, so if you quit or put it to sleep while in full screen mode it should come back that way.

As far as I know there isn't a way to get the ir receiver to work with anything other the the pvr's ir signals. But if you had a learning remote you could teach it the ir signals for you TV, ReplayTV, and SageTV.

if you are talking about the ir receiver for pvr 250/350
you can just set your remote to the philips code if your has a philips tuner but It cannot do everything just change channels and volume
and it worked to turn wintv on and off
but everything else I had to use the learn button to do and I like the hauppauge one compared to trying to program my Sony DIRECTV remote
