HD200 - How to get back to home screen after attaching to SageTV Server?

Once I connect to a SageTV Server, is there any other way to return to the home screen without turning the extender off and restarting it? I can't seem to find any other way to do it.

Currently, the power button is your only way back home. I would like to see that change and see a 'Home' choice on the HD-200 SageTV Main Menu.

I guess a "Home" selection would be nice, but how hard is it to push the "power" button twice

Couldn't you setup a macro to get you there on the harmony?

Well, it's not so much "hard" as it is annoying having to wait while it starts up all over. Not a huge deal of course, but it seems sort of an unnecessary step to have to take.

How do I get back to the main screen on the HD200???

The only way I've found to get back to the main screen, with the settings, online, media etc. is to shut the device off and start back up. Once I select one of my servers and get into the main 'sage tv client' type screen, as far 'back' I can go is to that main screen. I figured the "Home" button would take me back to the main screen, but it too just goes back to the main client screen.

Any way to get back to that main screen??

Thanks!

Use the Power button on the remote to power off, then hit Power again to restart. If you have it set to auto-connect to the last server, you'll have to cancel the auto-connection when that dialog appears.

BTW: while powered off, you can use Home to more quickly reconnect to the last server.

So you do have to power off to get back to that screen? Is that more of an admin type screen, and we're supposed to really use the device from the 'client' screen?

For me, there were two issues:

1) They don't soften up the user by explaining that there are two (count 'em: 2) "Main" menus: one for the client and one for the box.

This is counter intuitive in the extreme. No prob once somebody tells you, but cruel and unusual punishment for the noob.

2) They don't tell you about the power button, so once one catches on the the two main menu thing, they still don't know how to navigate.

Once the user knows this stuff, the HD200 is like a dream come true. Before they know it, it's confusing and frustrating.
