How to install sage for WHS 'Management client'

I've installed sage/WHS version on my WHS box.

How/what do I install on my other machine to configure this sever with?
I thought I read someplace that I run the installer again on my 'other machine' using a /client-only type option .. but I can't find that post.

Install the SageTV PC client (if you bought it) or Placeshifter on your PC. Or fire up an HD100 or HD200. Or find the SageTV.exe on your whs and run it there for any quick configuration. You may not get video or audio but you just want to configure it.

good question. I was under the impression that there was no management for sagetv through WHS console. As it is right now, I can't do anything through the WHS console but that's not really a problem as it sits on my workbench right now.

That's all she does. Start and stop the service. Install or remove placeshifter licenses.

Like I said if you double-click SageTV.exe when the service is running it comes up in client mode and you could do your config on the server.

Thanks Gerr. That's exactly how I do config it now... Start sage on the whs box.

But I'm pretty sure I read someplace that since you shouldn't use whs server to view TV
..sagewhs gave you a licence so you could split it over 2 boxes. Whs server and a separate client.

But of course I can't find that post now.
It was something like a /client-only on the regular full install

Install Placeshifter on one of your other PCs -- the 'included' license that comes with a SageTV for WHS install is for using a Placeshifter client on another PC, not a full version of SageTV or SageTV Client.

I do all my configuration by remoting into my WHS box and running the client.
