PlaybackException

I'm installing a new Sage server and I'm getting the following error whenever something tries to play back:

There was a Playback Error in playback. Details: sage.PlaybackException: ERROR (-4,0x80040217): There was a problem rendering the vieo portion of the content for playback.

This happens no matter what decoder I use (sagetv or nvidia) and whether or not I use VMR9 or Overlay.

Window Media Player plays th MPG files that Sage records just fine.

I am using sage 6.5.6 with windows 2003 Server SP2.

Any ideas?

If WMP works with the files, you should try setting all of your audio and video selections in Sage to "Default". That will make Sage use the same decoders that WMP uses.

In case that doesn't work, and for a little more troubleshooting information: What capture device were these files recorded with, and in what format?

I am seeing the exact same thing. Though to be fair it was before I loaded the beta as well. I loaded the beta to try to fix it.
