How Cyberlink codec is controlled by Sage

If cyberlink codec is set in sagetv advance setup, will all video settings set by Cyberlink Player Configuration be used?

thx

By "Cyberlink Player Configuration" you mean the setup in PowerDVD? No, Cyberlink has chosen create unique registry settings for each app that calls the decoders, and defaults those setting (not copies them from PowerDVD), so you need to dig in the registry to set them the way you want.

Are you aware of any links where this is explained?

EDIT:
I found the answer in help.
also, when hardware acceleration is enabled in Cyberlink setup page or Sage setup page, does it mean that IVCT is used when also enabled it nvidia control panel?
"The first section is Hardware Acceleration. Check Enable hardware acceleration if you would like to activate IDCT and Motion Compensation. By enabling this option, some features will be unavailable."

thx

I'm not really aware of any, I think it's been talked about on the forum before though. As for Sage settings, AFAIK, they only have an effect with the SageTV decoder, not 3rd party ones. But if you've got hardware accelleration/decoding enabled, the deinterlacing settings in the nVidia control panel should work.

Out of curiosity, what are the registry keys and settings that affect how PDVD works with Sage?

I searched through the forums and Google and couldn't find anything definitive. I hate that the forum's keyword search will not find words that don't include a space inbetween, like looking for "EnableVMR" will not find "EnableVMR=1", unless I am doing something wrong there.
