Mouse x-buttons and keyboard media buttons?

I have a Wireless IntelliMouse Explorer and a Microsoft Natural Keyboard Pro (which has been discontinued regrettably). I think it'd be really nice to be able to link my mouse's x-buttons to the Forward and Back commands in Sage. These are the two buttons on the side of the mouse in case anyone in wondering. They control Forward and Back in Internet Explorer. Windows posts a WM_XBUTTONDOWN message when these buttons are pressed. I like navigating the menus and program guides in Sage with the mouse, and it's a bit awkward to have to use the keyboard for forward and back while using the mouse to scroll through listings and click on buttons. (I also miss the right-click context menu for performing actions on shows, but that's another story entirely.)

My other suggestion would be to allow the use of the keyboard media buttons to control Sage functions. Buttons are Play/Pause, Stop, Prev Track, and Next Track, and their virtual key codes are VK_MEDIA_PLAY_PAUSE, VK_MEDIA_STOP, VK_MEDIA_PREV_TRACK, and VK_MEDIA_NEXT_TRACK, respectively. Even the keyboard browser buttons could be useful in Sage (Search, Favorites, Home, etc.). IMHO, it'd be much more intuitive to press a button on my keyboard labeled "Favorites" to bring up the Favorites Manager than some Ctrl+letter combination that I can never remember.

The mouse x-buttons were mappable in Sage 1.4, so it's probably a simple thing that just hasn't been gotten around to yet in V2.
