how do I check what reg key is used?
I have three server licenses and am using only two of them, problem is I don't know which two.

How do I check the reg key used on my sagetv server?

See this FAQ:
I forgot which license was used on which computer. Is there a way to get find out what license was entered on each computer?

One question tho, the FAQ suggests I reset the reg key. The way its worded it seems it may be talking about clients..... bear in mind I have three server registrations, I'll have to reset the key for my server and encoder which I have running now to be sure I know what license is used where.....

In your oppinion do you think reseting the master server's reg/license will cause any issues?

I reworded it slightly to be more of a "by the way" regarding clients. The procedure would be the same for servers.

Just exit SageTV on both servers before doing the registration & you should be fine.
