HD-PVR IR-Blaster stopped working
I installed 6.5.8, and discovered that channel changing of the cable box for HD-PVR recording doesn't work.
I went to the Source Set up for the HD-PVR, and checked Tuner Control. It is still set to Hauppauge IR Blaster StubDevice. Under "Change Tuning Device" there are no choices - only "Cancel". Under Test Infrared code, there are no options - only "Close". I reverted to 6.5.6 and it did not make any difference. I also recently changed to service mode I will try turning service mode off and see if it makes any difference. Debugging things by switching into and out of service mode is so irritating because all configuration settings are lost. But I have frequent UI crashes, and I'm tired of losing or interrupting recordings. It would be really nice to have one set of settings for both modes as a future enhancement.

Now I'm back to 6.5.6 with service mode disabled. The HD-PVR channel changing is working again. It will change channels, but there is still nothing under Test Infrared code (there are no options - only "Close").

Does anybody have the HD-PVR IR blaster working in service mode? I read some issues with the USB-IRT, but I'm not sure if they apply to the HD-PVR blaster. I was running the service mode with user LOCALSYSTEM.
I would like to use service mode so I don't lose as many recordings due to SageTV UI crashes, but of course the HD-PVR has to be able to tune the cable box.
