Help with SageTV and netflix please!
Hi I am new to really customizing the sageTV menus and such. I found that there is and STV for netflix that allows you to add the capabilities to view online videos and manage your account through sageTV. However I have run into a problem. I downloaded the required files and have copied them into the SageTV directory. I ran into a problem when it asked me to import the netflix.xml I searched for this file but could not find it. It said to click on file then open but I am not sure where it was referring to click on "file then Open" I am currently running sageTV V6.4.8.184 is it possible to add the net flix option to this. Please if someone could give me directions on doing this and keep them as detailed as possible I would greatly appreciate it. thank you

I believe the NetFlix plugin is an addition to the SageMC interface only. This is not the default SageTV interface. Still, you might want to give SageMC a shot... some really like it, others don't.

My understanding of the netflix plugin is that it probably won't work for most people any more as netflix has switched from a single video file to a multi file ms silverlight format.
IF your a new netflix subscriber, OR if you're an existing netflix subscriber that has installed Silverlight on your computer, my understanding is that no ones figured out a way to make anything work with the new silverlight system. Sure hope someone can make it work =p maybe a transcoding from silverlight to mpeg could be done? I don't know enough about that to make it happen though...

No. This simply creates a way to control the Silverlight viewer in Internet explorer with a remote. If it doesn't work with your remote, let me know in the scripts thread.
