WHS URP1?
Hi,
I am looking to buy a copy of WHS (actually I did buy one, but it is a long and painful story) and I noticed that Amazon has a version call "Microsoft Windows Home Server OEM with URP1," is URP1 just a different name for Power Pack 1? Or, if anyone has any recommendations as to where to buy a copy, they would be much appreciated. Thanks. |

I may, again. I bought one from them over 3 weeks ago, but it was a bad disc. It was not recognized by three different computers. The delays and problems with their customer service have me questioning whether I want to try and order from them again or not. Therefore, I was looking around.
Any idea if URP1 is power pack 1 or not? Thanks. |

M$ bad disc suggestion
While I'm still not offering an answer to your original question about URP1 (I haven't a clue). I have found issue with M$ media. I have a lot of new media from M$, due to my Action Pack subscription, and none of it will read in any of my Lite-On LH-20A1H DVDRW drives. This includes WHS. Flash latest drive firmware, still no good. I have to connect a different drive for the install, or create ISO's on a different machine to mount with Daemon Tools on a PC w/ the Lite-On drive to install software.
I have no idea what kind of drives you may have in your 3 different tested PC's, but just a suggestion to watch out for.

Actually, URP1 is update roll-up package 1, which includes PP1 but it also includes other updates so it's not just another name for PP1.
