Extender licenses with HD200 and Media MVP
I have been using a media MVP for some time now and own one media extender license. I recently purchased a HD200 extender and want to use both at the same time. When ever I connect both at the same time I get the error "The trial period has expired. Please visit www.sagetv.com to purchase". I understood that the HD200 didn't need an extender license. Is this true or do I need 2 media extender licenses?

The HD200's self-licensing support was added in SageTV V6.5. If you're running V6.4 or earlier, your server doesn't have this feature and will need an extender license for the HD200.

Solved
Thanks for the reply. My first response when I read your message was, I do have v6.5 but I decided to double check and sure enough I had v6.4. After a short download and installation everything worked beautifully. I now have a HD200 and Media MVP connected with a wireless 802.11n bridge.
Thanks again |
