Anyone solved this problem with X10's UR86A remote?

X10's UR86A remote is wireless/RF to an X10 CM19A RF transceiver to/from USB.

Works fine with this one unsolved problem...
If I "learn" that remote using a Hauppauge remote that comes with the Hauppauge MVP extender, this problem exists: After learning, the UR86A up and down buttons (and others) cause a double-step on the MVP's menus. That is, frequently when I push UP, the focus in a menu jumps two steps instead of the normal one step (row in the menu).

I've repeated the learning, fiddled with the inter-remote distance during learning, etc.

If I could solve this, I go from too many remotes to just one for TV, Sage/Hauppauge, X10 Palm Pad, DVD player.
