6.5.12 and 6.5.13 Mac mplayer problems

I've had problems with both 6.5.12 and 6.5.13 on Mac, where mplayer crashes very quickly, after starting to view live TV. I've submitted bug reports for both versions.

I've had to revert back to 6.5.11 to stay stable.
