Why "INVALID AIRING" in sage recordings?
Tonight I recorded friends but it shows up in the Sage Recordings as a "INVALID AIRING". The EPG data all looks good and as program details and the file name also looks proper. The recorded file does have the correct length (32 Min) and airing time for the file, but none of the program details. I did have a problem with sage about an hour after this recording where sage shut itself down for no apparent reason. No other recordings show this problem. Anyone have any idea what causes this? I think it is possible that the EPG data was being updated during the airing. While looking at the System Information, it shows Watching as "BAD AIRING", this is incorrect I should be watching "INVALID AIRING". So far the recording appears to be correct. Has anyone else seen this problem?

I get this problem fairly frequently in Sage 1.4.10 but have never been able to get a satisfactory answer as to why this happens. I too would liek to know the conditions under which SageTV reports INVALID AIRINGS.

My speculation about what caused this problem is that the episode originally was titled Viewer's Choice. At some point during or after the airing the actual episode name was provided. The file saved on my disk is Friends-ViewersChoice-20507868-0, when I look at the EPG data it shows "The One Where Everybody Finds Out". If I look at the episode for next week it shows the episode as "Viewers Choice", which I suspect will change during or after the airing. This problem is probably due to the contest NBC has concerning guessing what episode will be shown.
