Skipping in an .mp4 file

Hello all,

I'm having trouble when I play back an AppleTV transcoded file through placeshifter. It plays fine, but if I try to skip to a location within the file then the player just hangs. I can skip MPG files and DIVX files without any problems.

Any ideas?

I've having similar problems with HD-PVR files. I'm running 6.5.15 and submitted a bug report with SageTV. Once I try to skip around in the HD-PVR recording from Placeshifter everything pretty much dies. Playback halts with errors (Sage Playback exception) and I have to kill the Placeshifter process. Once I reconnect, I can no longer play any recordings until I reboot my laptop (overlay errors reported by placeshifter).

I just submitted the bug report today so probably won't hear anything back from them until tomorrow or Tue, but if I remember I'll try to update this thread with Sage's response.
