Placeshifter local file storage locations - Vista

Hi.

This seems like a rather simple question, but I've searched and wasn't able to find an answer.

I am testing a trial version of Placeshifter, v 6.5.9.204 with Vista SP1 (on client) on a purchased SageTV Beta, v 6.5.15.211 (on server) with Xp SP3.

Where are local files stored via Placeshifter? I assume streamed media (Live TV in this case) is being stored locally on the client machine somewhere in addition to on the server, where I can readily find such locations.

I ran a test yesterday on the Vista client, and a few hundred MBs - between 700 and 800 - disappeared somewhere, but I have no idea where they might be. Placeshifter was the only application running during such time.

I apologize for such a rudimentary question, but I can't seem to find the appropriate information.

AFAIK, Placeshifter doesn't save streamed video locally.

When you say that 700 or 800 MB "disappeared", you mean your free disk space decreased by that amount? Are you sure you're not just seeing normal paging file activity?
