Feature request: channel naming if no EPG

Hi,

Living in Belgium, I cannot use EPG. So it should be great if I could manually name the channels.

Thanks

Ferdinand

To activate XMLTV do a search on 'XMLTV howto' or check this post:

http://forums.freytechnologies.com/f...ht=XMLTV+howto

You will need a python interpreter, there is a native windows Python at http://www.python.org/download/ ) as the script that is used is in that language.

Let me know if you need dutch or french guide and I'll send you the script to retrieve the tv listing.

And we should thank nielm for providing us with the script.

thanks -- I can't claim credit, I just made minor alterations to one from Pascal Wateel...

I have written a newer, better .be XMLTV grabber for the XMLTV project, (with better handling of timezones, languages, customisation, grabbing of more information) and have submitted it to XMLTV project, but the project people have not yet approved it to be integrated...
