Adjusting H.264 settings
the compression profile can make a big difference in bandwidth needed and CPU used.
I have a massive quad core system that should be able to pretty agreessively compress the stream. I have a 1.5mbit Internet link that I would like to jam HD onto. Hulu in the USA can do it. How do do I convince Sage to compress the stream harder? I also find many of my HD recordings from firewire from my STB do not transcode. Am I just missing come codecs?

Also having HD problems
I'm also having problems with HD recordings (both h.264 and from my hauppauge 2250), but standard def recordings work well.
The HD recordings play choppy for a few seconds (both audio and video), then the sound completely drops out, while the video continues to be choppy. If I hit pause then play, the sound will resume (still choppy), but is off by a few seconds. Thanks, beerandt
