I want to use the PS3 as a client/extender

Is this possible? In my media room, I feel like the PS3's capabilities (hulu, web browser, streaming videos, blue-ray, games, etc, etc) would be complete if I could run SageTV from it. Has anyone done this? I think it is definitely worth looking into!

After doing some research, it seems possible to install windows XP on the PS3. Has anyone done this and used the ps3 as a client with success?

I don't think you are going to get a native client working on the ps3 (at least not without putting in alot of effort). As an alternative, you can look at ps3mediaserver and point it to your sage recordings and videos.

I'm actually working on a sage plugin for ps3mediaserver, but it's a long way from being released.
