Used Library Diskspace :Calculating
My SageTV keeps locking up I think because its calculating Used Library Diskspace and Total Library Content. I can see these two being reported as "Calculating" in the Settings menu. It is taking forever because I have a large movie library. Is there a way to stop this? I'm running the latest release of Sage 6.5.18 in Vista 64 bit.

If you stay on that screen long enough it will stop on its own. Enable debug logging to find out exactly why it is locking up. It could be a corrupt file in your library that Sage can't read properly.

I am seeing the following message in the log : EventThread-SAGETV_PROCESS_LOCAL_UI Hang Detected - hang time = 73501
It is not specifying any particular file. |

You'll have to scan the log looking just prior to where the Hang Detected log messages start to see what SageTV was doing leading up to when it started to hang. It's not always clear what is causing the Hang Detected messages and it may be something from even earlier in the log that is causing the problem. If you are running SageTV as a service, you may need to enable debug logging on both the SageTV Service and the SageTV Client to fully track what's going on. Best advice would be to submit an official bug report. If you do, be sure to enable debug logging on both the Service and Client if running as a service. If SageTV asks you for your log files, they'll want both.
