Can't change channels anymore on my DTV D11 STBs
Hey guys anyone else having this problem?
I am using the patersontech serial to usb cables to change the channels on my DTV D11 STBs, everything was working fine. Come home from work this evening and nothing. Sage just flips back and forth between the 2 boxes I have connected. I tried using the TV Translator to verify the cables weren't cooked, but they both pass the connectivity tests, they are both set at the default settings on patersontechs site. If I try to connect using Directv Control it connects to the STBs but the information window at the bottom just scrolls: <--75 unexpected data <--D6 unexptected data <-- FD buffer overflow <-- F2 processing so on and so on... It won't power the STBs on or off. I have tried numerous times to reset the the boxes, power them off power them on, but no love.... Thanks! |

I had a similare problem with my H21's. I upgraded the firmware on my patersontech adapters and then I had to reset my STB. that resolved my issue
Hope this helps, Jayson

Thanks for the reply Jayson! Yup, tried that...
I tried pressing the reset button with the power cord unplugged and holding it for 15 seconds, I tried it with power cord in, with the unit powered on, off. I tried resetting the STB and waiting a couple minutes then powering on my server and I tried it with the server on. No dice... |

Did you try just changing the channel through TV Translator to see if it something with sage? it has been a while since I have tried this but the help on paterson's site indicates you do it through the options test window.
Jayson

I did! No go, if I try using Directv Control I get the scrolling messages at the bottom. I've attached a screenshot of it. Doesn't matter what setting I try, old, new, d10-100, d10-200.
