Background Image Resizing question
I am just wondering if there are any function calls that can make the background image I am setting for my menu widget to fit within the display. Thanks. Also what are the best dimensions for an image to be used as a background image and can someone maybe give me a link to background image sources.

You don't need any function calls to scale the background image. Just tick the Stretch Background checkbox in the Theme properties dialog.
I figure 1/3 to 1/2 of your TV's resolution is a good size for background images. Much smaller than that and you'll start to see pixelation when it scales up to full-screen size. I either make backgrounds myself, or use Google image search to find them.
