Can I use 2 usb uirt's on the same server?

Trying to drop the Hauppage IR blaster I've been using on one of my HD PVR's and control both of my stb's each with their own USB UIRT (I have 2). nly one shows up in the IR tuning device option, so I can't see how Sage would know which was which (both show up separately in device manager BTW).

Can this be done? Am I better off or forced into using the usb uirt "zone" method?

Thanks.

This forum's sticky Information Resources for Remotes, Receivers, and IR Blasters has a USB-UIRT section, which includes this link:

How to use multiple USB-UIRTs with SageTV

The info is from the previous post's link, but the sticky should make the SageTV-related info for the USB-UIRT relatively easy to find.

Also, just to let you know, a single USB-UIRT can control 3 devices independantly, so you would not necessarily need to purchase a seperate USB-UIRT, just a couple emitters. You can then set up the USB-UIRT to work with zoning. (by adding the zoning prefix's to the .ir files).
