Parental Controls Help

Hello,

Last night after I got ExeTunerPlugin working to change channels for me I began looking at more of the SageTV features.

The first feature I was interested in is the Parental Controls.

I selected everything in the limitations because we control how much time our children spend watching television so we want to enter the code for each program that they watch. I didn't try out the live TV function or the sage recordings after doing this so I don't know for certain if it worked for that yet or not. But I did try playing back from the video library and that did not require a code to be entered.

What I am wondering is whether or not there is currently a way to require a code to be entered before playing a file from the video library? I realize the parental controls require something to indicate what a file's content and/or rating is, but it would be nice to have an option to require a code if that information is not available. It would also be nice to have a manually controlled rating, something like "Parent Approved" so the parent could by default make nothing playable without the code, but be able to mark certain programs as approved for viewing that would not require the code.

Just a suggestion. At the very least, it would be nice to password protect the video library. This may already be available and I just missed it. If it is, can you point me in the right direction to find out how to do it?
