How do I get the Sunday Ticket HD channels?

The program guide shows all of the SD channels, but does not list the HD channels. So I can see channel 709, but not 709-1. (All of the HD Sunday tickets are xxx-1s). If I try to add 709-1 as a physical channel (or logical channel), Sage will not change to the new channel.

If it matters, I am controlling my DirecTV receiver via Serial/USB using the directv.dll.

Thanks in advance,

I'm having the same problem. So far, all I've come up with is I have to babysit it when it first comes on, and manually go in using the DirecTV remote and change to the HD channel. Not a very ideal solution.

It's strange that they have these "-1" channels for the HD, but the other HD channels on DirecTV don't work like that or give SageTV a problem.

I updated the physical channel to be 704-1 for example on my system. I am using the USBUIRT so I don't know if that makes a difference. Could it be that the serial connection doesn't know how to enter the "-"?

I emailed Tim Paterson about this and he was kind enough to point out that the software that comes with his cable can do this for you. Just look at the "HiDef Director" help topic in the help file if you're using a Paterson cable to control your DirecTV box.

Thanks for sharing the information. I just ordered 2 cables from Paterson.

EDIT: This fixed my issue.

I am having the same problem. I tried to remap the physical and logical channels to 703-1 etc, but it wouldn't even let me tune. Like my Directv STB wasn't getting the command. It said 703-1 and I alwso tried going to it directly, but still, nothing. Help! I just want to tell my STB to tune to a -1. I'm using the blaster that came with the HD-PVR.
