Hulu seems to be working for me, try restarting your PlayOn Server.

I normally need to restart the PlayOn service. That was the solution PlayOn gave me and it works pretty well, but pretty annoying nonetheless. You could easily setup a task to restart the playon service daily at a time when you know you will be asleep.

As a side note, currently I don't see that PlayOn is worth $40 so I haven't bought it yet. If Sage is able to fulfill EP's feature request to optimize the Online Services feed and I'm able to get full access to all of PlayOn's features from within Sage, I probably won't buy it. OK, I'm done with tantrum.

There's also a way to restart the server from within Sage...

Online Services -> PlayOn Settings -> Restart Server

That seemed to have done the trick. Wonder if there's a way to automate that, or if I should just let the kids know to do that before trying to watch stuff the first time each day.

I have to say, this is already my most important plugin, I'll make sure this is always working first when I upgrade my Sage system, lol.

Audio gets out of sync with Hulu

Has anyone experienced audio sync issues?

I'm running the latest release of Sage, samgemce beta 21 and the latest of this plugin.

For 30 minute shows, it works pefectly. For shows that are an hour long, about the 30-35minute mark, the audio will get out osynce and remains like this throughout the remainder of the show.

What can i do to troubleshoot?

Thanks again EP for this great plugin.

Have you updated to the newest version of PlayOn. They just released it yesterday and that was suppose to fix the audio sync issue with Hulu.

Password Protected?

Sorry if I'm missing something basic here but, I am trying to unzip the UPnP2Podcast.zip into SageTV/SageTV and am being asked for a password. What's the secret handshake? ("UPnP2Podcast.exe is password protected. Please enter the password in the box below")

I don't know what version you're trying to install or where you downloaded it from, but the official release is here:

http://forums.sagetv.com/forums/down...do=file&id=342

And it doesn't require a password to unzip.

Jason,

Thanks for the help, but I've tried the install 3 times and get asked for a password each time. I am trying to unzip into SageTV/SageTV and have downloaded the official version from the link you provided. Perhaps I am overlooking something basic...?

That's odd. I just downloaded it, opened it with Windows Explorer, dragged the files onto the desktop, and everything was extracted to the desktop with no password prompting (on Windows Vista Home)

Can you open the file with Windows Explorer and drag the file out instead of using the Extraction Wizard? What version of Windows are you using and is it up-to-date with Windows Updates?

Thanks guys. I was able to do what Jason suggested. I manually dragged the files from the .zip file to a new folder on my desktop, then drug the files to the appropriate place in SageTV/SageTV. However, none of the custom feeds are showing up in Online Services. Does it take some time for these to be populated? I have PlayON running on a different machine on the local network.

-------------------Edit-----------------------
Which Sage TV Application Package should be loaded? I noticed that SageTV3.xml is currently loaded and that two "SageTV3 with imports...." XML files are selectable. Shoule either of these be loaded instead?

I can watch PlayOn content on my Wii (bad quality and very low WAF). I can run the UPNP inspector and find my Hulu queue. But all I get is blank screens through SageMC and this. Any thoughts please?

Running HD200 with SageMC and Windows 7 - 64-bit

What do you mean by "blank screens"? Did you find some content, click to load it, have it say it was buffering, and then go blank? Or do you get "no videos found" when you choose a folder? Or some sort of error?

Probably not what you are talking about, but just in case:if you see a video and choose it, and it buffers a while and then just goes blank (black screen).... push Play. The hulu videos (usually/often/always?) don't start on their own after buffering.

EP,

I was finally able to unzip to the proper folders. All of the properties files appear in the OnlineVideos folder and UPnP2Podcast.exe appears in SageTV/SageTV folder. PlayOn is running on the same machine. However, none of the new choices for online content (Hulu, Netflix, ABC, etc) appear in the Online Services screen of SageTV (server). I have uploaded my .log file. FYI, I have clicked on UPnP2Podcast.exe to manually run it (it appears that it does not run unless I run it manually). Any help you can proivde would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the great program!

Make sure you have updated your STV to the latest version. Detailed Setup-Advanced-Update STV. It should tell you what your current version of STV you are running.

Nothing shows up

Hi!

After I install this, I only get the regular items on the Online Videos screen. I have the very latest playon 2.59.3577.52 and the latest STV download.

Any ideas? Playon works just fine on my PS3
