Playback Stutters

This weekend I rebuilt my Sage setup that ran great for 5 years until something in my pc got corrupted. This is a 100% clean install of everything and very little is now running on this PC. I have 2 internal drives and a Drobo for my Video, Pictures and Music. The primary drive has the Sage installation, the 2nd drive has my DVR backup directory. Now for some reason during playback of live or recorded video the audio and video stutters for 10 seconds then everything is fine. It is very random but consistent if that makes sense. I have tried to narrow it down to some process that may be running high when this happens but I can't find anything.

Any idea is very appreciated.

Might be a basic question but is your video driver installed ? Sometimes it doesnt install properly depending on the os you are using. Result you end with a basic compatible driver that seem to be working properly
