Looking for Freesat tuning info

for the following channels: -

Audi Channel,
Teachers TV
Zone Thriller
Euro News
Russia Today
Wedding TV Asia
Zing
Pitch TV
Pitch World
Gems TV - May now be three TV stations, not sure
JML
JML Cookshop
Net Play

When I have these, then I have the full freesat lineup.

There are many many other channels besides which I'll put in later.
SageTV does not find all the channels all the time. Is this just down to the channels not transmitting all the time or is tuning hit and miss

Lyngsat is the fount of all tuning knowledge http://www.lyngsat.com/28east.html You can double check with King of Sat too http://en.kingofsat.net/pos-28.2E.php & http://en.kingofsat.net/pos-28.5E.php There are extra FTA channels that are not part of the Freesat bouquet e.g. Lux TV HD.

Scanning DVB-S always seems a little hit & miss not just in Sage but in all other applications that I have used. I have sometimes had a whole transponder missing because for some reason there appears to be no signal which is probably due to a hardware problem with the LNB or the cabling. With my current setup I never receive the very highest frequency transponders so I cannot actually receive Lux TV HD on 12.643H.

At first, I dismissed these sites because they didn't appear to contain all the info needed by Sage, However, I see that kingofsat does. At first, I couldn't find the tsid but I see that kingofsat call this TID and each block is grouped by it.

No I have a comprehensive list, I can use the freq/tid/tsid/fec to produce a unique key. the only problem I have is linking the channel names used in kingof sat to the channel names in digiguide so that I can get the Sky channel numbers and EPG.

Hauppauge has a freesat database available for download.

Is this link of any interest?

http://www.hauppauge.co.uk/site/supp...l.html?prod=27

The web page has a file to download containg free to air channel list.

I am new to SageTV and I am not sure what to do with the data. If it can be used, please let me know how to use it in SageTV.

Thanks
