Multiple Favorites of the same show
I found a post back in Sept. of '03 about double showings of favorites, but there was no fix available then. Hopefully there's something that can be done now.
On my Cartoon Network there's a Family Guy episode at 11PM and then the same episode shows again at 2AM. This happens on M,T,W,Th. I haven't had a chance to test it, but from my understanding what will happen right now is the 11PM AND the 2AM shows will both be recorded. Is this correct? If so, can I fix it some how? It would be nice not to get two of the same episodes four nights a week.

Each episode of that show has distinct show IDs, so you will get 1 recording of each episode. The multiple recording problem only occurs when the ShowIDs for different episodes are the same.

I don't believe you will get any double recordings. However, if you do be sure to check the show IDs and make sure they are the same. Sometimes, the same episode gets two different showIDs, one that begins with EP that contains the episode number and one that starts with SH that just defines just the series. This will cause double recordings because SageTV cannot tell that it is the same episode.
