I sageTV refusing to make client blu ray compatilble
Are they doing this just so you have to buy thier HD exteneder ?
Accroding to MS directshow which is what sagetv is using will support blu ray |

Sagetv I bet will never support Blu ray from server or client for they want to use this to force you to buy their HD units...

Nope. If you are running a full client, then most just run an external player to play their blu-ray's. You need to read up on what is required for software to do blu-ray playback and then you will realize why Sage does not have native support for it (i.e. secure path / DRM).
